Parungpanjang, 31 Agustus 2023 - Dalam rangka
meningkatkan minat baca di lingkungan madrasah, Kepala MAN 5 Bogor melalui
perpustakaan MAN 5 Bogor terus melakukan berbagai kegiatan, salah satunya
melakukan Gerakan Sedekah Buku (Gedebuk). Gerakan sedekah
buku merupakan sumbangan
berupa buku-buku dari siswa-siswi MAN 5 Bogor baik buku baru maupun buku bekas.
Buku yang terkumpul nantinya akan akan digunakan untuk menambah koleksi buku di
Perpustakaan MAN 5 Bogor. Selain itu koleksi buku tersebut merupakan salah satu
komponen dari akreditasi perpustakaan. Semakin banyak koleksi buku maka akan
semakin baik nilai akreditasi yang nantinya akan diperoleh.
Kepala perpustakaan, Novia Istikomah menuturkan Gerakan Sedekah Buku (GEDEBUK) diadakan untuk meningkatkan layanan
baca perpustakaan. Siswa-siwi MAN 5 Bogor diharapkan dapat menyumbangkan
buku-buku yang masih layak baca dengan judul bebas seperti novel, buku
referensi, buku anak-anak dll, buku sudah dapat dikumpulkan di perpustakaan dan
akan kita tunggu sampai dengan tanggal 15 September 2023 pungkasnya.

1. Buku asli bukan bajakan
2. Tahun terbit minimal 2017.
3. Tidak harus buku baru
4. Tema/judul bebas apa saja.
