Parungpanjang, 15 Mei 2023 -- Senin pagi di MAN 5 Bogor, jarum jam menunjukkan waktu Pukul 07.15 dan lapangan sudah terisi penuh dengan kehadiran peserta didik dan pimpinan madrasah serta bapak ibu dewan guru dan staff tata usaha. Bertindak selalu inspektur Upacara / Pembina yaitu kepala madrasah, Ema Rachmawati. Tahukah anda bahwa ada setidaknya empat (4) manfaat upacara bendera bagi siswa?
Manfaat ikut upacara bendera bagi siswa

Manfaat upacara bagi karakter siswa adalah bisa meningkatkan kekompakan.
Pada saat mengikuti upacara bendera, para peserta harus kompak dalam mengikuti aba-aba dari petugas upacara.
2. Menumbuhkan jiwa nasionalisme
Upacara menjadi salah satu cara bagi kita untuk mengenang jasa para pahlawan yang telah gugur berjuang demi membela negara Indonesia.
3. Menumbuhkan jiwa kepemimpinan
Manfaat mengikuti upacara bendera selanjutnya adalah bisa menumbuhkan jiwa kepemimpinan atau leadership. Biasanya para siswa akan secara bergilir memimpin jalannya upacara agar berjalan dengan baik dan benar.
Disinilah kesempatan bagi siswa untuk belajar jiwa kepemimpinan dalam dirinya. Siapa yang sudah pernah mendapatkan tugas memimpin atau menjadi petugas upacara bendera?
4. Melatih kedisiplinan
Dengan mengikuti upacara bendera, secara tidak sadar kita juga melatih diri untuk bersikap disiplin. Seperti dalam memakai atribut kelengkapan upacara bendera, hadir tepat waktu, baris berbaris dan mengikuti susunan dengan tertib.
