Project arduino : Membuat sensor gerak dengan buzzer Pada postingan kali ini kita akan menunjukan cara program sensor PIR dan membuat sebuah proyek menggunakan Sensor PIR HC-SR501 untuk mendeteksi gerakan manusia sehingga dapat menghidupkan sebuah alarm. Sebelum masuk kedalam proyek, akan dijelaskan sedikit mengenai prinsip kerja dari sensor PIR ini. Passive Infrared Receiver atau yang disebut sensor PIR ini merupakan sensor inframerah pasif yang biasanya digunakan untuk mendeteksi adanya pergerakan yang berada dalam jangkauan sensor. Sensor PIR ini juga diaplikasikan untuk alarm keamanan dan aplikasi pencahayaan otomatis.
Sensor PIR ini terbuat dari perangkat pyroelectric yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi berbagai tingkat radiasi inframerah. Ketika manusia ataupun binatang ada didalam jangkauan sensor alat ini akan mendeteksi gerakan karena tubuh manusia ataupun hewan mengeluarkan energi panas dalam bentuk radiasi inframerah. Saat sinyal inframerah dalam jangkauan sensor berubah dengan cepat maka sensor akan mengirimkan ouput untuk mengindikasi adanya gerakan. Pada modul ini juga dilengkapi dengan lensa Fresnel yang dirancang khusus untuk memfokuskan sinyal inframerah pada sensor.
