Tenjo, 30 Oktober 2024 – Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Safwan Maulana, M.Pd didampingi kepala Tata Usaha, dan tiga orang awakil kepala melakukan kunjungan resmi ke Pemerintah Desa Singabangsa, Kecamatan Tenjo, sebagai langkah untuk mempererat kerja sama dengan instansi pemerintah setempat. Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan keberlanjutan peran MAN 5 Bogor Kampus Tenjo sekaligus menawarkan fasilitas gedung madrasah bagi kepentingan masyarakat.
MAN 5 Bogor Kampus 2 di Tenjo telah beroperasi selama kurang lebih sepuluh tahun. Namun, dalam perjalanannya, kampus ini mengalami kendala berupa stagnasi karena menurunnya minat masyarakat serta penurunan disiplin guru. Akibatnya, proses pembelajaran di Kampus Tenjo dipusatkan kembali ke Kampus 1 di Parungpanjang. Meski demikian, MAN 5 Bogor tetap berkomitmen melayani siswa dari Tenjo dengan menyediakan asrama gratis, bahan makanan, serta pembebasan biaya pendidikan bagi siswa yang bersekolah di Kampus Parung Panjang.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor menegaskan bahwa kunjungan ini juga bertujuan untuk meluruskan rumor terkait bangkrutnya Kampus Tenjo. “Kampus Tenjo bukan bangkrut, tetapi hanya mengalami penyesuaian pelayanan pendidikan,” ujarnya. Dalam kesempatan ini, pihak madrasah menawarkan kerja sama dengan Pemerintah Desa Singabangsa untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas gedung Kampus Tenjo bagi kegiatan-kegiatan masyarakat, tentunya sesuai prosedur dan kesepakatan yang berlaku.
