Tangerang, 22 Agustus 2024 – Tim Humas MAN 5 Bogor mengikuti kegiatan seminar bertema "Kemerdekaan Digital" yang diadakan di Kampus Bina Sarana Informatika (BSI) BSD Tangerang. Seminar ini dihadiri oleh perwakilan dari berbagai institusi pendidikan, termasuk sekolah menengah atas dan perguruan tinggi, dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya literasi digital di era modern.
Seminar yang diselenggarakan oleh BSI ini menghadirkan berbagai narasumber ahli di bidang digitalisasi, terutama tentang AI for Educatiojn; Transformasi Pendidikan di Era Digital. Para pembicara memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai peran penting literasi digital dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama di kalangan pelajar dan mahasiswa. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi etika dalam berinternet, cara menangkal hoaks, serta pentingnya menjaga privasi dan data pribadi di dunia digital.

Perwakilan Humas MAN 5 Bogor yang hadir dalam kegiatan ini, Jubaedah, S.Ag, menyampaikan bahwa seminar ini sangat bermanfaat bagi institusi pendidikan dalam menghadapi tantangan di era digital. "Seminar ini membuka wawasan kami tentang pentingnya literasi digital bagi pelajar, terutama dalam menghadapi maraknya informasi yang tidak benar di media sosial. Kami berharap pengetahuan ini dapat kami bagikan kepada seluruh siswa di MAN 5 Bogor agar mereka lebih bijak dalam menggunakan teknologi," ujarnya.
Kegiatan seminar ini juga diisi dengan sesi diskusi interaktif, di mana para peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk bertanya dan berdiskusi langsung dengan para narasumber. Topik-topik yang dibahas termasuk dampak digitalisasi pada kehidupan sosial, peran teknologi dalam pendidikan, serta cara menjaga kebebasan berekspresi di dunia maya tanpa melanggar norma dan etika.
Dalam kesempatan ini, BSI juga memberikan penghargaan berupa beasiswa pendidikan kepada SMA/SMK di wilayah Tangerang Raya. Ada sekitar 20 orang siswa terpilih.
Di akhir acara, peserta seminar diajak untuk berkomitmen dalam mengembangkan dan menerapkan literasi digital yang positif di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat. Selain itu, BSI juga mengadakan post test berupa kuis menggunakan platform kahoot berisi 15 pertanyaan tentang materi yang sudah disampaikan, dan Farrel meraih peringkat ke-2.
Dengan mengikuti seminar ini, Humas MAN 5 Bogor berharap dapat lebih berperan aktif dalam mengedukasi siswa mengenai pentingnya literasi digital serta menjadi agen perubahan yang membawa dampak positif di era digitalisasi.
Seminar ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam membangun kesadaran digital yang sehat dan konstruktif di kalangan generasi muda, sehingga mereka mampu memanfaatkan teknologi secara optimal dan bertanggung jawab.
