Parungpanjang, 12/8/2023 - Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 5 Bogor mengikuti kegiatan Olimpiade Bahasa Arab Tingkat Kabupaten tahun 2023 yang diselenggarakan oleh Forum MGMP Bahasa Arab se-Indonesia. Olimpiade bahasa Arab dilaksanakan secara daring menggunakan platform edubox dikuti oleh 2.960 lembaga se-Indonesia ini dilaksanakan secara serempak mulai pukul 10.00 - 11.00. Dalam kompetisi yang diadakan pada akhir pekan ini, MAN 5 Bogor mengirimkan 3 orang siswa terbaik yaitu, Zahran Rizqullah, M. Abizard Novaris, dan Galuh Setiawati. Mereka dibimbing oleh dua orang guru yaitu, Jubaedah dan Faturohman.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema Rachmawati, memberikan dukungan penuh untuk tim olimpiade bahasa Arab tahun ini. ia mengungkapkan kebanggaannya terhadap upaya dari guru-guru bahasa Arab dan siswa MAN 5 Bogor yang telah dengan gigih berjuang untuk mengikuti tahapan mulai seleksi dari tiap kelas, kemudian tingkat sekolah, dan terakhir tingkat KKM MAN 5 Bogor. "Prestasi ini adalah hasil dari kerja keras dan dedikasi tim pelajar kami. Kami sangat bangga dengan pencapaian mereka dan ini adalah bukti bahwa pendidikan di MAN 5 Bogor tidak hanya fokus pada akademik, tetapi juga pada pengembangan kompetensi bahasa dan budaya," ujar Ema Rachmawati.

Olimpiade Bahasa Arab Tingkat Kabupaten tahun 2023 ini merupakan platform yang memungkinkan para pelajar untuk menunjukkan kecakapan mereka dalam memahami konten bahasa Arab sesuai Keputusan Menteri Agama nomor 183 tahun 2020, serta meningkatkan pemahaman tentang budaya Arab. Keikutsertaan MAN 5 Bogor dalam kompetisi ini juga merupakan bagian dari upaya madrasah untuk mendorong minat dan prestasi dalam bidang bahasa dan budaya.
Pembimbing I olimpiade bahasa Arab, Jubaedah, berharap para peserta ke depannya lebih mencintai bahasa Arab. "Saya sangat bangga dan berterimakasih kepada Galuh, Zahran dan Abidzar atas semangat dan kedisiplinannya belajar bahasa Arab untuk menghadapi olimpiade tingkat kabupaten tahun ini. Musah-mudahan mereka bertiga lolos ke tingkat provinsi dan syukur-syukur bisa sampai nasional". Harap Jubaedah.
Prestasi gemilang ini juga tidak hanya berdampak pada sekolah, tetapi juga pada masyarakat sekitar.
