Bogor, 22 Oktober 2023 - Peringatan Hari Santri Nasional tahun 2023 merupakan langkah jihad para santri untuk terus jayakan negeri. Momentum ini sebagai upaya meningkatkan peran santri sebagai pilar keagamaan dan keilmuan yang menjadi motor penggerak kemajuan bangsa. Hal tersebut ditegaskan Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Bogor Syukri Ahmad Fanani (Syukaf) yang membacakan Sambutan Menteri Agama RI Yaqut Cholil Qoumas pada peringatan Hari Santri tingkat Kabupaten Bogor yang dipusatkan di Lapangan Bogor Tegar Beriman Cibinong, Minggu (22/10/2023).
Menurut Syukaf, tema “Jihad Santri Jayakan Negeri” pada peringatan Hari Santri kali ini, memiliki makna yang mendalam. Kata “jihad” dalam Islam bukanlah sebatas pertempuran fisik, melainkan perjuangan secara keseluruhan, yang mencakup perjuangan untuk menguatkan iman, memperdalam ilmu, dan memperbaiki diri. Sebagai santri, kita tidak hanya berkewajiban memahami ajaran agama dengan baik, tetapi juga bertanggung jawab untuk menjadikan nilai-nilai agama sebagai landasan dalam tindakan dan perilaku kita sehari-hari. Sementara itu, menurut Ema Rachmawati selaku kepala MAN 5 Bogor, “Santri harus menjadi contoh yang baik dalam masyarakat, menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kebaikan, toleransi, dan persaudaraan.” Semangat jihad para santri dalam menjalankan ajaran agama dan berjuang untuk kemerdekaan sangat patut diteladani. “Hari Santri adalah momentum yang tepat untuk merefleksikan peran kita dalam membuat jaya negeri ini. Sebagai generasi penerus, kita harus terus belajar dan berusaha untuk mencapai kesempurnaan dalam ilmu agama dan ilmu pengetahuan umum,” katanya.
Sementara itu Bupati Bogor, Iwan Setiawan mengatakan, pihaknya sangat mengapresiasi semangat jihad santri dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Perjuangan saat ini bukanlah perjuangan fisik semata, melainkan perjuangan untuk memerangi kebodohan, ketidakadilan, kemiskinan, dan semua bentuk ketidaksetaraan. Selain mengikuti upacara perayaan HSN di lapangan Bogor Tegar Beriman, dua orang tim manajemen MAN 5 Bogor, yaitu wakamad bidang kesiswaan dan wakamad bidang Humas mengikuti upacara di Tenjo dan Parungpanjang sesuai arahan kepala madrasah.
Peringatan Hari Santri tingkat Kabupaten Bogor dihadiri pula oleh Forkopimda, Kepala Perangkat Daerah, para pelajar dan santri serta undangan lainnya. Kegiatan tersebut juga dimeriahkan oleh marching band dan paduan suara. (humas)
