Parung Panjang, 22 April 2025 — MAN 5 Bogor turut ambil bagian dalam menyukseskan program nasional Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia berupa penanaman 1 juta pohon matoa (Pometia pinnata ) dalam rangka memperingati Hari Bumi ke-55 tahun 2025.
Kegiatan penanaman pohon matoa di lingkungan MAN 5 Bogor dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 22 April 2025. Penanaman dilakukan secara simbolis oleh Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, didampingi oleh Kepala Tata Usaha, para Wakil Kepala Madrasah, serta pengurus OSIS.
Baca Lainnya : Aksi ini menjadi wujud nyata komitmen madrasah dalam mendukung gerakan pelestarian lingkungan hidup yang dicanangkan oleh Kementerian Agama. Penanaman pohon matoa juga diharapkan menjadi sarana edukatif bagi peserta didik untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis dan semangat menjaga bumi sejak dini.
“Melalui penanaman ini, kita ingin menanamkan nilai kepedulian lingkungan kepada seluruh warga madrasah. Bumi adalah titipan yang harus kita rawat bersama,” ujar Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, pak Safwan Maulana.
Selain memiliki nilai konservasi, pohon matoa dikenal sebagai tanaman asli Indonesia yang memiliki manfaat ekologis dan ekonomis. Diharapkan ke depan, pohon-pohon matoa yang ditanam akan memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi lingkungan dan generasi mendatang.
Dengan semangat Hari Bumi, MAN 5 Bogor berkomitmen terus berperan aktif dalam berbagai program pelestarian lingkungan sebagai bagian dari implementasi moderasi beragama yang ramah terhadap alam. (Humas)
