Parung Panjang, 28 Juli 2025 — Dalam rangka menghadapi Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) tingkat Provinsi, MAN 5 Bogor menggelar pembinaan intensif untuk cabang Geografi pada Selasa, 28 Juli 2025, bertempat di perpustakaan madrasah.
Sesi pembinaan kali ini difokuskan pada topik “Perubahan Iklim dan Mitigasi Bencana”, dua isu krusial yang menjadi perhatian global dan sangat relevan dalam kajian geografi. Bertindak sebagai pembimbing adalah Bu Ressa Kartika, S.Pd., guru Geografi MAN 5 Bogor yang telah berpengalaman dalam membina siswa berprestasi.

Melalui pendekatan ilmiah dan diskusi interaktif, para peserta yang merupakan siswa MAN 5 Bogor terpilih mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam tentang faktor-faktor penyebab perubahan iklim, dampaknya terhadap kehidupan manusia dan lingkungan, serta strategi mitigasi bencana alam yang adaptif dan aplikatif.
“Pembinaan ini bukan hanya untuk mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi soal OSN, tetapi juga menanamkan kesadaran dan tanggung jawab sebagai generasi muda terhadap perubahan iklim dan penanggulangan bencana,” ungkap Bu Ressa.
Para siswa tampak antusias, aktif dalam diskusi, serta mampu mengaitkan teori geografi dengan fenomena alam yang terjadi di sekitar mereka. Diharapkan, pembinaan ini dapat meningkatkan kesiapan intelektual dan mental peserta dalam menghadapi OSN Provinsi sekaligus menumbuhkan kepekaan terhadap isu-isu lingkungan.
MAN 5 Bogor terus berkomitmen membina generasi ilmiah yang unggul, kritis, dan peduli terhadap tantangan global. (Humas)
