Parungpanjang, 21 Juli 2023 - Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 5 Bogor menyelenggarakan seminar parenting yang bertujuan untuk membantu orang tua siswa dalam peran sebagai pendidik yang lebih efektif. Acara yang dihadiri oleh ratusan orang tua siswa ini diselenggarakan dengan penuh antusiasme di aula utama madrasah pada hari Jum'at.
Seminar parenting tersebut menghadirkan seorang ahli dalam bidang pendidikan dan psikologi anak, Akbar Zainuddin, yang juga merupakan penulis buku Man Jadda Wajada ini memberikan berbagai wawasan dan strategi kepada orang tua untuk mendukung perkembangan dan pendidikan anak-anak mereka secara optimal.
Dalam sambutannya, Kepala Madrasah, Ema Rachmawati, menyatakan bahwa tujuan dari seminar ini adalah untuk membantu para orang tua dalam menghadapi tantangan dan tugas sebagai pendidik dalam lingkungan keluarga. "Orang tua adalah sosok pertama yang sangat berpengaruh dalam pembentukan karakter dan potensi anak. Dengan seminar ini, kami berharap para orang tua dapat lebih siap dan mampu menjadi mitra yang efektif bagi sekolah dalam mendukung perkembangan siswa," ujarnya.
Para peserta tampak sangat antusias mengikuti seminar ini. Beberapa di antaranya berbagi pengalaman dan cerita tentang tantangan dalam mendidik anak-anak mereka, dan juga mendapatkan solusi dan tips dari ahli.
"Seminar ini sangat bermanfaat bagi saya sebagai orang tua. Saya belajar banyak tentang bagaimana cara mendukung anak-anak saya dalam belajar dan menemukan cara untuk tetap dekat dengan mereka," ujar salah satu peserta.
