Parungpanjang, 3 September 2024 – Serah terima program asrama MAN 5 Bogor untuk bulan Agustus resmi ditutup pada hari ini, menandai berakhirnya rangkaian kegiatan yang telah dijalankan dengan sukses. Acara serah terima ini dilaksanakan di musholla madrasah dengan dihadiri oleh para santri, pengurus asrama, orangtua walisantri serta perwakilan dari manajemen madrasah.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, bapak Safwan Maulana, M.Pd., dalam sambutannya mengapresiasi dedikasi dan partisipasi aktif para santri dalam seluruh kegiatan selama bulan Agustus. "Program asrama bulan Agustus telah berjalan dengan lancar, dan kami bangga dengan semangat serta komitmen para santri yang selalu antusias dalam mengikuti setiap kegiatan. Semoga pengalaman ini menjadi bekal berharga bagi kalian semua. Saya juga berterimakasih kepada seluruh jajaran pengurus asrama puteri, yakni bu Jubaedah, bu Nevi Damayanti, bu Nur Efita Dewi dan bu Debby Damayanti Sinaga yang telah dengan sabar mendampingi proses pembentukan akhlak mulia anak-anak peserta prigram asrama bulan ini, semoga hal itu menjadi catatan amal baik ibu-ibu semuanya, amin," ujarnya.

Program asrama bulan Agustus diikuti oleh 26 orang siswi yang diisi dengan berbagai kegiatan positif seperti kajian keagamaan, pembinaan karakter, kegiatan kepemimpinan. Seluruh kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk membentuk santri yang tidak hanya unggul dalam bidang akademik, tetapi juga berakhlak mulia dan mandiri.
Dalam kesempatan pembagian rapor santri asrama bulan Agustus, pembina asrama puteri bu Jubaedah menyampaikan beberapa indikator penilaian yang dilakukan oleh jajaran pengurus asrama kepada para santri di antaranya, untuk menilai keterampilan tahsian melalui tes lisan perorangan, keterampilan membaca kitab kuning melalui tes baca, keterampilan berbahasa Inggris melalui tes speaking dan penilaian sikap yang mencakup kedisiplinan, kerajinan dan ketaatan melalui observasi. Dinobatkan sebagai santri teladan bulan Agustus adalah Dewi kelas X.3.
Setelah serah terima selesai, program asrama bulan September segera dimulai dengan semangat baru. Pada kesempatan yang itu pula, Koordinator Program Asrama, bu JUbaedah, memaparkan garis besar program yang akan dijalankan selama bulan September. "Bulan ini, kita akan fokus pada penguatan pembelajaran Al-Qur'an serta peningkatan keterampilan membaca kitab ta'lim muta'llim dan ketrampilan bahasa Inggris sebagai bagian dari program unggulan asrama. Kami berharap semua santri dapat mengikuti kegiatan dengan semangat dan disiplin," jelasnya.
Dengan dimulainya program asrama bulan September, MAN 5 Bogor terus berkomitmen untuk memberikan pendidikan yang holistik dan berimbang bagi seluruh santri, guna mencetak generasi yang berakhlak mulia dan berwawasan luas.
