Parung Panjang – SERASI (Selasa Literasi) merupakan salah satu program kokurikuler MAN 5 Bogor yang secara konsisten dilaksanakan untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi sekaligus memperkuat karakter peserta didik. Program ini kembali dilaksanakan bersamaan dengan kegiatan Salat Duha Bersama pada Selasa, 27 Januari 2026, bertempat di Lapangan MAN 5 Bogor, dan diikuti oleh seluruh siswa dan siswi MAN 5 Bogor, kelas XII.
Kegiatan diawali dengan pelaksanaan salat Duha berjamaah, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan agenda literasi SERASI. Pada kesempatan tersebut, materi literasi disampaikan oleh Muhammad Handiansyah, siswa kelas XI.D.
Baca Lainnya : Dalam pemaparannya, Muhammad Handiansyah mengulas buku berjudul “Yang Telah Lama Pergi” karya Tere Liye. Buku ini menceritakan perjalanan seorang kartografer bernama Mas’ud dari Baghdad yang berupaya menyelesaikan peta detail karyanya. Namun dalam perjalanannya, ia justru harus menghadapi berbagai tantangan hingga menjadi tawanan sekelompok perompak laut dan bertemu dengan seorang Raja Bajak Laut.
Pertemuan tersebut mengantarkan Mas’ud pada keterlibatan dalam penyusunan strategi penyerangan terhadap Kerajaan Sriwijaya di Pulau Swarna Dwipa (Sumatera). Novel ini menggambarkan fase awal keruntuhan Kerajaan Sriwijaya dengan menonjolkan kecerdasan, ketekunan, serta strategi yang dirancang melalui proses panjang.
Poin utama yang disampaikan dalam kegiatan SERASI kali ini adalah pentingnya proses dalam merancang strategi besar, yang menuntut kesabaran, ketelitian, dan waktu sebelum mencapai keberhasilan.
Melalui pelaksanaan SERASI sebagai program kokurikuler yang terintegrasi dengan kegiatan keagamaan, MAN 5 Bogor berharap peserta didik mampu mengembangkan kemampuan literasi, berpikir kritis, serta karakter religius secara seimbang. (Red. Humas)
