Parungpanjang, 31 Juli 2023 - Siswa-siswa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Kabupaten Bogor menorehkan prestasi gemilang dalam Kejuaraan Bandung Karate Club tingkat Kabupaten Bogor yang berlangsung akhir pekan kemarin. Tim karate MAN berhasil memborong sejumlah piala dan mendominasi beberapa kategori pertandingan.
Tim karate MAN Kabupaten Bogor menunjukkan kemampuan dan dedikasi luar biasa mereka dalam menghadapi kompetisi sengit melawan ratusan peserta dari berbagai klub karate di wilayah kbupten Bogor. Atlet-atlet muda ini berhasil menunjukkan performa unggul dan menjadikan nama MAN 5 Bogor berada di puncak prestasi.

Pada kompetisi yang berlangsung selama dua hari penuh, para siswa MAN berhasil meraih prestasi gemilang dengan meraih total 9 piala dari berbagai kategori pertandingan. Berikut adalah beberapa hasil cemerlang yang mereka peroleh: Medali Emas: Albaari Ridha Hidayat kelas XII IPA 3, Pandu Dharmawan kelas XI IPA 1, dan Yunisa Nur Arief kelas XI IPA 1. Medali Perak: Nadin Triani kelas XI BAHASA, Yuaningtyas Quinta Azhar kelas X.1 (beregu). Medali Perunggu: Rival Anam kelas XI IPA 3, Aulia Jihan Nazihah kelas XI IPA 4, dan Yuaningtyas Quinta Azhar kelas X.1.
Dengan raihan piala yang gemilang ini, MAN Kabupaten Bogor menunjukkan bahwa olahraga karate telah menjadi bagian integral dari pendidikan mereka dalam membentuk karakter unggul dan prestasi akademik yang berkualitas. Dukungan dari pihak sekolah, guru, dan keluarga turut berperan penting dalam kesuksesan para siswa dalam berkompetisi di kancah regional. Dan memastikan mereka menuju kejuaraan tingkat provinsi (Kejurda) tahun ini.
Kepala MAN Kabupaten Bogor, bu Ema Rachmawati, merasa sangat bangga dengan prestasi yang diraih oleh para siswa di ajang kejuaraan tersebut. Beliau menyatakan, "Prestasi ini merupakan bukti nyata bahwa pendidikan dan olahraga dapat berjalan seiring dan memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi perkembangan karakter dan prestasi siswa. Semoga keberhasilan ini menjadi motivasi bagi siswa lainnya untuk terus berprestasi."
Keberhasilan siswa-siswa MAN 5 Bogor di Kejuaraan Bandung Karate Club tingkat Kabupaten Bogor menunjukkan bahwa olahraga bukan hanya sekadar aktivitas fisik semata, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk mengasah kedisiplinan, mental yang kuat, dan semangat juang yang tinggi.
