Parung Panjang, 18 November 2024 - MAN 5 Bogor kembali menorehkan prestasi di ajang Jakarta National Pencak Silat 2024. Menurut berita yang dimuat di laman Sudin Komunikasi, Informatika dan Statistik Kota Administrasi Jakarta Timur ada s ebanyak 3.250 peserta mengikuti Kejuaraan Jakarta Nasional Pencak Silat, di Gelanggang Olah Raga (GOR), selama empat hari, pada 14-17 November 2024. Kejuaraan dibuka Sekjen Ikatan Pencak Silat Indonesia (IPSI), Teddy Suratmaji.
Para peserta datang dari berbagai daerah, tak hanya dari Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang dan Bekasi, tapi juga dari luar daerah seperti Indramayu, Yogyakarta, Padang, Purwokerto, Papua, Lampung, Karawang dan Makasar. Kategori yang dipertandingkan dalam kejuaraan yang mengusung tema ‘Jadilah Sang Legenda Pencak Silat’ yakni nomor tanding dan seni untuk tingkat SD, SMP, dan SMA, yang memperebutkan hadirh total Rp30 juta.

Pada even kejuaraan bergengsi ini, tim pencak silat MAN 5 Bogor mengirimkan 19 orang atlet terbaiknya. MAN 5 Bogor mengukir prestasi dengan total perolehan:
8 Medali Emas, diraih oleh Raisya Sadewa (XII IPA 1), M. Zacky Abd. Rohim (XII IPA 4), Ratih (XI.F), Nenden Destri Astri (XI.H), Raka Maulana Putra (X.F), Nazwa Nuraini (X.H), dan M. Fuad Abd. Baqi (X.H)11 Medali Perak, diraih oleh Rizky Ananda Putra (XI.A), Restiayu Putri (XI.C), Putri Ridhanty Aulia (XI.H), Asma Salsabila (XI.G), Najmi Urfah (XI.I), Lingga Subhanul Hakim (X.A), Arista Juliana (X.E), Reyvan Syachreza (X.F), M. Arfa Ghoisan Athari (X.F). Zaidan Maqdits (X.H), dan Muhammad Raihan Amin (X.H) Keberhasilan ini tidak terlepas dari kerja keras para atlet, pelatih, serta dukungan penuh dari pihak madrasah. Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Safwan Maulana, M.Pd., menyampaikan rasa bangga dan apresiasinya terhadap pencapaian tim. "Prestasi ini menjadi bukti nyata bahwa semangat juang dan latihan yang disiplin dapat membuahkan hasil luar biasa. Kami berharap para siswa terus berkembang dan menjadikan pencak silat sebagai sarana untuk membangun karakter dan sportivitas," ujar beliau.
Salah satu atlet, Raisya Sadewa (kelas XII IPA 1), yang berhasil meraih emas di kategori kelas tanding 60-65 kg, mengungkapkan rasa syukurnya. "Saya sangat bersyukur atas hasil ini. Semua kerja keras selama latihan terbayar. Terima kasih untuk dukungan guru, pelatih, dan teman-teman," katanya.
Pelatih tim, Junix Seantero, menambahkan, "Kami akan terus meningkatkan kemampuan para atlet agar dapat bersaing di tingkat yang lebih tinggi. Keberhasilan ini adalah motivasi besar bagi tim," ujarnya.
Prestasi Tim Pencak Silat MAN 5 Bogor di Jakarta National Pencak Silat Championship 2024 semakin mengukuhkan nama madrasah sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan dengan keunggulan di bidang olahraga bela diri. Semoga capaian ini menjadi inspirasi bagi generasi muda lainnya untuk terus berprestasi.
