Parung Panjang, 24 Februari 2025 – Sebanyak 287 siswa kelas XII dari berbagai jurusan di MAN 5 Bogor mengikuti ujian praktik mata pelajaran Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan (PKWU) dengan tema "Memasak Makanan Khas Nusantara dan Dunia". Ujian ini diikuti oleh siswa dari kelas XII IPA 1, 2, 3, dan 4; XII IPS 1, 2, 3, dan 4; serta XII Bahasa.
Dalam ujian ini, setiap kelas dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok yang bertugas memasak hidangan khas dari berbagai negara seperti Indonesia, Italia, Thailand, India, dan lainnya. Siswa jurusan IPA melaksanakan praktik memasak di ruang kelas XII IPA 2, sementara siswa jurusan IPS dan Bahasa menggunakan ruang kelas XII IPA 3.

Setelah proses memasak selesai, hasil kreasi kuliner siswa ditampilkan dalam konsep restoran mini di ruang kelas XII Bahasa. Masing-masing kelompok menata hidangan mereka dengan tampilan menarik, lengkap dengan penyajian ala restoran. Selain menguji keterampilan memasak, ujian ini juga melatih siswa dalam aspek penyajian dan kewirausahaan, seperti teknik promosi dan pelayanan kepada pelanggan.
Salah satu peserta ujian, Fathir Hanif dari kelas XII IPS 1, mengungkapkan bahwa ujian praktik ini memberikan pengalaman berharga. “Kami belajar tidak hanya cara memasak, tetapi juga bagaimana menyajikan makanan dengan tampilan menarik seperti di restoran,” ujarnya.
Guru pengampu mata pelajaran PKWU, bu Saripa, mengapresiasi kreativitas dan kerja sama para siswa dalam praktik ini. “Melalui ujian ini, kami ingin siswa memahami bahwa memasak bukan hanya keterampilan dasar, tetapi juga memiliki peluang bisnis yang besar jika ditekuni dengan baik,” tuturnya.
Dengan ujian praktik ini, siswa tidak hanya mengasah kemampuan memasak, tetapi juga belajar tentang manajemen usaha kuliner dan cara membangun branding produk. Diharapkan pengalaman ini dapat menjadi bekal bagi mereka dalam menghadapi dunia kewirausahaan di masa depan. (Humas)
