Parungpanjang, 22 April 2024 - Setiap tanggal 21 April, bangsa Indonesia merayakan Hari Kartini untuk menghormati perjuangan seorang pahlawan nasional, Raden Ajeng Kartini. Peringatan hari Kartini di MAN 5 Bogor tahun ini diperingati hari Senin, 22 April 2024 dengan menggelar upacara bendera. Seluruh petugas upacara berasal dari uunsur siswi. Seluruh peserta upacara memakai baju daerah.
Baca Lainnya : Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, bu Ema Rachmawati dalam amanatnya menyampaikan, "Hari ini tidak hanya merupakan pengingat akan dedikasi Kartini dalam memperjuangkan hak-hak perempuan, tetapi juga sebuah kesempatan untuk merenungkan bagaimana visinya terus mempengaruhi dan menginspirasi perempuan Indonesia di era modern ini".
Kartini, seorang tokoh yang hidup pada awal abad ke-20, memimpin perjuangan untuk memberikan hak pendidikan dan kemerdekaan kepada perempuan. Pemikiran-pemikirannya tentang kesetaraan gender, kemandirian, dan pendidikan telah menjadi landasan bagi kemajuan sosial dan ekonomi perempuan Indonesia.
"Di Hari Kartini tahun 2024 ini, kita dapat merenungkan bagaimana nilai-nilai yang dianut Kartini terus relevan dan berdampak dalam masyarakat kita saat ini. Di tengah kemajuan teknologi dan transformasi digital, perempuan Indonesia semakin menonjol dalam berbagai bidang seperti bisnis, ilmu pengetahuan, seni, politik, dan masih banyak lagi" Imbuhnya
Namun, tantangan pun masih ada. Masih ada kesenjangan gender yang perlu diatasi, terutama dalam akses pendidikan, kesempatan kerja, dan keterwakilan di level kepemimpinan. Hari Kartini bukan hanya sekedar perayaan, tetapi juga panggilan untuk terus memperjuangkan kesetaraan dan keadilan bagi semua.
"Pada Hari Kartini tahun ini, marilah kita bersama-sama merayakan prestasi perempuan Indonesia di masa lalu, menghargai peran mereka dalam membangun bangsa ini, dan membangun komitmen kita untuk menciptakan masa depan yang lebih inklusif dan setara bagi semua warga Indonesia, tanpa memandang jenis kelamin", pungkas bu Ema menutup amanatnya.
