Parungpanjang, 26 April 2024 - Dalam upaya meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana, MAN 5 Bogor menggelar apel peringatan Hari Kesiapsiagaan Bencana pada hari ini. Acara yang diikuti oleh seluruh siswa, guru, serta staf sekolah tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang strategi dan langkah-langkah yang perlu diambil dalam menghadapi situasi darurat.
Suasana lapangan apel MAN 5 Bogor dipenuhi oleh semangat dan keseriusan saat para peserta berkumpul bersama untuk mendengarkan sambutan dari kepala madrasah. Dalam sambutannya, Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ibu Ema Rachmawati, menegaskan pentingnya pemahaman akan bencana dan upaya kesiapsiagaan sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran di sekolah. "Kita tidak pernah tahu kapan bencana akan melanda, namun dengan pengetahuan dan persiapan yang memadai, kita dapat mengurangi dampak buruk yang ditimbulkan oleh bencana tersebut," ujarnya dengan penuh keyakinan.

Selama acara, para siswa diberikan informasi tentang berbagai jenis bencana yang mungkin terjadi di wilayah mereka, mulai dari gempa bumi, ular, hingga kebakaran. Mereka juga diberikan pengetahuan tentang tindakan-tindakan yang harus diambil saat bencana terjadi, termasuk prosedur evakuasi, penggunaan peralatan pertolongan pertama, dan komunikasi darurat.
Para siswa ditantang untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam latihan evakuasi dan permainan peran yang dirancang untuk mensimulasikan situasi bencana. Hal ini bertujuan untuk melatih respons cepat dan koordinasi antara siswa dalam menghadapi situasi darurat yang nyata.
Kegiatan ini juga menjadi kesempatan bagi para siswa untuk berkolaborasi dengan pihak terkait, seperti Damkar dan relawan bencana lokal, dalam upaya membangun kesiapsiagaan komunitas dalam menghadapi bencana.
Melalui apel peringatan Hari Kesiapsiagaan Bencana ini, MAN 5 Bogor tidak hanya meneguhkan komitmen mereka untuk melindungi dan menyelamatkan nyawa siswa, tetapi juga membentuk generasi yang peduli dan siap bertindak dalam menghadapi tantangan bencana di masa depan.
