Parungpanjang, 31 Agustus 2023 - BPH ekstrakurikuler IRMA MAN 5 Bogor mengikuti acara Pendidikan Kepemimpinan Remaja Masjid (PKRM) yang diselenggarakan oleh IRMA Jawa Barat secara daring bagi peserta didik SMA/SMK/MA se-Jawa Barat, mulai hari Senin, Selasa, dan Rabu, tanggal 28, 29, dan 30 Agustus 2023. Sejumlah 1.184 peserta yang berasal dari ratusan sekolah/madrasah wilayah Jawa Barat mengikuti program ini. MAN 5 Bogor adalah satu-satunya madraah yang mengirimkan peserta didiknya untuk mengikuti program ini.
Tujuan dari program PKRM ini bertujuan untuk membekali para peserta dengan ilmu dan wawasan keterampilan tentang kepemimpinan untuk dapat mengelola organisasi remaja masjid secara struktural menjadi pengurus IRMA, secara kultural dan personal setiap individu memiliki jiwa kepemimpinan/karakter kepemimpinan.

IRMA merupakan ekstrakurikuler yang baru diresmikan tahun ini. Meskipun baru seumur jagung, ekstra kurikuler ini sudah mampu menunjukan eksistensinya di MAN 5 Bogor. Ada beberapa program unggulan IRMA, di antaranya; (1) Dluha Bersama Setiap Hari, (2) Murottal Waqi'ah dipimpin oleh Siswa, ( 3) Do'a Dluha oleh siswa, ( 4) Dakwah Digital, ( 5) Keputerian.
Di bawah sentuhan keibuan dan penuh keikhlasan seorang pembina, Santika Komalasari, IRMA juga telah berhasil menyelenggarakan santunan yatim. Dalam melaksanakan program unggulannya, Santika Komalasari dibantu oleh BPH, yaitu M. Ridho Dimitri, Adam Rijaldi Kamal, Nasywa Aulia, dan Keysha Ayuningrum.
