Jakarta, Juli 2025 – Keberhasilan 18 siswa MAN 5 Bogor lolos sebagai finalis Olimpiade Sains Nasional (OSN) Tingkat Provinsi Tahun 2025 mendapat apresiasi dari berbagai pihak, termasuk dari tokoh nasional yang juga merupakan bagian dari keluarga besar madrasah ini.
Dr. H. Abdul Basit, S.Ag., MM, Kasubdit Kurikulum dan Evaluasi KSKK Madrasah Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Islam Kementerian Agama RI, turut menyampaikan rasa bangganya sebagai alumni MAN 5 Bogor. Ia menyebut bahwa capaian ini menunjukkan kualitas pendidikan di madrasah yang terus berkembang dan mampu bersaing di bidang sains.
Dalam keterangannya, ia menyoroti pentingnya peran guru pembimbing, semangat belajar siswa, serta lingkungan madrasah yang mendukung tumbuhnya prestasi. Ia juga menyebut bahwa lulusan madrasah memiliki potensi besar untuk bersinar di berbagai bidang, termasuk di level nasional.
Baca Lainnya : Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Safwan Maulana, M.Pd, menyampaikan apresiasi atas perhatian dan dukungan dari alumni yang kini menjabat di tingkat pusat. Hubungan yang erat antara alumni dan almamater diyakini menjadi kekuatan tersendiri dalam membangun semangat juang siswa.
MAN 5 Bogor menempatkan 18 siswanya dalam semua cabang OSN yang dilombakan yakni Matematika, Biologi, Kimia, Fisika, Ekonomi, Geografi, Kebumian, dan Informatika. Mereka akan bersaing di tingkat provinsi membawa nama baik madrasah dan Kabupaten Bogor.
