Parungpanjang, 2 Mei 2023. Hari pertama masuk sekolah bagi para peserta didik MAN 5 Bogor seusai libur panjang Idul Fitri 1444 H langsung diawali dengan kegiatan Upacara peringatan Hari Pendidikan Nasional 2023 tingkat madrasah. Bertindak sebagai pembina upacara adalah Wakil Kepala Madrasah bidang Kesiswaan, Moh. Syahlan. Kepala Madrasah sendiri mendampingi kegiatan Hardiknas di MAN 5 Bogor Kampus 2 Singabangsa Tenjo dengan beberapa orang guru.
Selesai upaca Hardiknas , Bapak dan Ibu guru disuguhi Opor Ayam dan Ketupat khas lebaran, dilanjutkan dengan Rapat Pleno Kelulusan kelas XII.

Sementara di sisi lain lapangan manlibo para siswa melanjutkan aktivitas mengisi hardiknas dengan beberapa lomba yang diadakan oleh OSIS dibantu Ekskul, antara lain lomba menulis dan membaca puisi, flashmob antar kelas, menulis surat inspiratif untuk guru, membuat video kreatif dan pembuatan poster digital yang terkait tema pendidikan.
Kepala madrasah, Ema Rachmawati berharap melalui kegiatan upacara yang dilanjutkan dengan berbagai perlombaan tersebut diharapkan menjadi motivasi bagi peserta didik tentang arti penting pendidikan. Karena lewat pendidikan mereka bisa sukses mencapai cita-cita.
Selamat Hari Pendidikan Nasional 2023. Kita semua adalah murid dan guru di saat yang sama, dan setiap tempat adalah sekolah. Jadi, ayo kita bergerak bersama semarakkan merdeka belajar !!
