Parung Panjang, 1 Agustus 2025 – “Jika ingin mahir berbicara di depan umum, jangan takut salah. Yang terpenting adalah keberanian untuk memulai. Tingkatkan jam terbang sejak hari ini,” demikian disampaikan oleh Kak Risky Zuliansyah, Duta Baca Kabupaten Bogor sekaligus Pradana Putra MAN 5 Bogor masa bakti 2024/2025, dalam kegiatan pelatihan public speaking bagi anggota Pramuka Khusus MAN 5 Bogor.
Kegiatan bertajuk “Belajar Public Speaking by Praktik: Jago Cuap Tapi Berisi” tersebut dilaksanakan pada Jumat, 1 Agustus 2025, bertempat di ruang kelas XII.F MAN 5 Bogor. Kegiatan diikuti oleh anggota Pramuka Khusus kelas XI dengan penuh semangat dan antusiasme tinggi.

Dalam penyampaian materinya, Kak Risky—yang akrab disapa Kak Iky—berbagi pengetahuan tentang dasar-dasar public speaking dan penerapannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Berbekal pengalamannya sebagai jurnalis, master of ceremony (MC), dan pengisi suara (voice over talent), ia menekankan bahwa kemampuan berbicara di depan umum tidak hanya soal kefasihan, melainkan juga tentang bagaimana menyampaikan pesan yang bermanfaat, komunikatif, dan mudah dipahami oleh pendengar.
Tidak hanya mendapatkan materi secara teoritis, para peserta juga diberikan kesempatan untuk mempraktikkan teknik berbicara di depan umum secara langsung. Peserta diajak melakukan latihan ekspresi wajah (senam muka/Lion Face) sebagai pembuka sesi praktik agar lebih rileks dan percaya diri saat tampil berbicara di hadapan publik.
Dalam pemaparannya, Kak Risky menyampaikan bahwa keterampilan public speaking merupakan bekal penting bagi generasi muda. “Kuncinya adalah tekad dan kemauan. Jika ada niat yang kuat dan terus diasah melalui latihan yang konsisten, siapa pun bisa menjadi pembicara yang baik,” ujarnya memotivasi peserta.
Kegiatan ini sejalan dengan visi Pramuka MAN 5 Bogor dalam membentuk pribadi-pribadi muda yang tidak hanya memiliki keberanian untuk berbicara, tetapi juga mampu menyampaikan gagasan secara terstruktur, santun, dan bermakna.
Dengan terselenggaranya pelatihan ini, diharapkan anggota Pramuka Khusus MAN 5 Bogor dapat terus mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi mereka, sehingga mampu tampil sebagai generasi muda yang percaya diri, kompetitif, dan inspiratif di berbagai kesempatan. (Humas)
