Parungpanjang, 3 Mei 2023 – Tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 tak lama lagi akan berakhir. Menjelang tahun ajaran baru, tim Panitia PPDB MAN 5 Bogor yang diberikan tugas oleh Kepala madrasah, Ema Rachmawati giat melakukan sosialisasi penerimaan peserta didik baru ke berbagai SLTP (SMP dan MTs) yang ada di wilayah sekitar madrasah, juga ke wilayah-wilayah lain yang memungkinkan dan dalam jangkauan ke MAN 5 Bogor. Sosialisasi dilakukan dengan dua cara, lewat medsos official resmi MANLIBO maupun dengan cara visitasi langsung.
Tujuan diadakan sosialisasi ini untuk menyampaikan informasi secara langsung dan jelas kepada setiap SLTP yang murid-muridnya memungkinkan untuk mendaftar di MAN 5 Bogor.

Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, kegiatan sosialisasi PPDB dengan visitasi langsung dilaksanakan oleh Panitia PPDB yang dibagi menjadi lima Tim Kecil yang masing-masingnya terdiri dari 2-3 orang.
Ketua Panitia PPDB MAN 5 Bogor yang juga wakil kepala madrasah bidang hubungan masyarakat menjelaskan bahwa sosialisasi PPDB dengan cara visitasi langsung ke berbagai sekolah/madrasah memiliki nilai lebih dari aspek penguatan hubungan yang harmonis antar sesama lembaga pendidikan sekaligus memperpendek jarak informasi yang bisa saling berbagi dengan lebih maksimal. Karena salah satu tugas kehumasan di madrasah aliyah adalah menjalin komunikasi dan hubungan baik dengan berbagai instansi baik di sektor pendidikan maupun instansi pemerintah atau swasta lainnya.
Sebagai tambahan informasi, saat ini PPDB MAN 5 Bogor sedang dalam tahap pendaftaran secara online melalui link https://ppdb.man5-bogor.sch.id (Maret - Mei 2023), yang dilanjutkan pengambilan nomor test di Sekretariat Panitia (1-4 Juni 2023), Test Masuk dan Test Baca Tulis Qur'an (5-6 Juni 2023), Wawancara orang tua calon murid baru (10 Juni 2023), Pengumuman Hasil Test (12 Juni 2023).
Tim Panitia PPDB MAN 5 Bogor yang hari ini melaksanakan visitasi ke berbagai sekolah untuk sosialisasi PPDB antara lain Tim A (Indra Parimarma dan Dede Anwar), Tim B (Moh Syahlan dan Syarif Hidayatullah), Tim C (Enung Yusi Suswanti, Jubaedah, Husnul Khotimah), Tim D (Banani Beni Sandra dan Rizki Romdoni), dan Tim E (H. Machfud Siradjuddin dan Eka Herdiana). Serta dibantu oleh Tim Humas yang terdiri dari Nugroho Dwi Cahyo (Guru Sejarah) dan Erik Supriatna (Guru PJOK).
SMP dan MTs yang dikunjungi antara lain meliputi wilayah Kecamatan Parungpanjang, Rumpin, Tenjo, Pagedangan, dan Legok.
