Parungpanjang, 26 Agustus 2024 - Humas MAN 5 Bogor terus aktif dalam menjalin hubungan baik dengan para alumni sebagai bagian dari upaya membangun sinergi yang kuat antara almamater dan lulusan. Salah satu bentuk nyata dari upaya ini adalah kehadiran siswa MAN 5 Bogor dalam sidang senat terbuka ujian promosi doktor salah satu alumni berprestasi, Aang Mahyani, yang kini menjabat sebagai dosen di UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung melalui live streaming YouTube di musholla madrasah.
Sidang senat terbuka yang berlangsung di UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung pada hari Senin, 26 Agustus 2024 tersebut menjadi momen penting bagi Aang Mahyani, yang berhasil mempertahankan disertasinya dengan judul "Penguatan Moderasi Beragama Melalui Literasi Digital di Jawa Barat (Penelitian di MAN 5 Bogor, MAN 4 Bogor, MAN 1 Sukabumi, MAN 1 Kab. Sumedang dan MAN 1 Kota Bekasi)" di hadapan para penguji. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh berbagai kalangan, termasuk perwakilan dari MAN 5 Bogor yang terdiri dari siswa dan guru melaui live streaming YouTube sebagai bentuk dukungan kepada alumni yang telah membawa nama baik madrasah ke jenjang pendidikan tertinggi.

Kehadiran siswa MAN 5 Bogor dalam acara ini bukan hanya sebagai bentuk apresiasi, tetapi juga sebagai inspirasi bagi mereka untuk terus mengejar impian dan menempuh pendidikan hingga ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. "Kami sangat bangga dengan pencapaian Pak Aang Mahyani, yang menjadi contoh nyata bagi kami semua bahwa dengan tekad dan kerja keras, kita bisa mencapai prestasi setinggi mungkin," ujar Bintang Azzahra, siswa kelas XII IPA 1 yang yang hadir pagi ini.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Safwan Maulana, juga menyampaikan rasa bangganya atas pencapaian Aang Mahyani. "Prestasi yang diraih oleh Pak Aang adalah bukti bahwa pendidikan di MAN 5 Bogor dapat membekali siswa untuk sukses di masa depan. Kami berharap hubungan baik dengan para alumni seperti ini terus terjalin dan memberikan manfaat bagi siswa-siswa kami," tuturnya.
Selain itu, Humas MAN 5 Bogor berkomitmen untuk terus melibatkan alumni dalam berbagai kegiatan di madrasah, baik sebagai pembicara, motivator, maupun narasumber dalam seminar dan workshop. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan dan inspirasi kepada para siswa, serta memperkuat jaringan antara alumni dan madrasah.
Kegiatan ini menjadi bagian dari upaya MAN 5 Bogor dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang mendukung pencapaian prestasi akademik dan non-akademik, serta membangun karakter siswa yang siap bersaing di masa depan.
