PARUNG PANJANG – Dalam upaya mewujudkan lingkungan madrasah yang bersih, sehat, dan ramah lingkungan, MAN 5 Bogor melaksanakan kegiatan Sosialisasi Pengurangan Sampah Plastik dan Larangan Penggunaan Streofoam kepada para pedagang kantin, Senin (21/7/2025).
Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di area lingkar kantin MAN 5 Bogor dengan menghadirkan para pedagang sebagai peserta utama. Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini Wakil Kepala Madrasah bidang kurikulum dan tim kebersihan.
Dalam sosialisasi tersebut, pihak madrasah menegaskan pentingnya peran aktif pedagang dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan kantin. Salah satu poin utama yang disampaikan adalah larangan penggunaan bahan makanan berbasis styrofoam/streofoam yang sulit terurai dan berpotensi merusak lingkungan.

Selain itu, para pedagang juga diajak untuk mengurangi penggunaan kantong plastik sekali pakai, menggantinya dengan alternatif ramah lingkungan seperti wadah makanan berbahan kertas, daun, atau bahan yang dapat digunakan kembali.
“Upaya kecil yang konsisten seperti ini akan membawa perubahan besar bagi lingkungan madrasah kita. Kebersihan adalah tanggung jawab bersama,” ujar pak Indra Parimarma.
Madrasah berharap, dengan adanya kegiatan ini, para pedagang semakin peduli terhadap pentingnya menjaga kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan madrasah. Langkah ini sejalan dengan visi madrasah dalam menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga sadar akan tanggung jawab sosial dan lingkungan. (Humas)
