Parungpanjang, 01 Juli 2023_Pada hari raya kurban tahun ini, MAN 5 Bogor melaksanakan kegiatan keagamaan berupa pemotongan hewan kurban yaitu 3 ekor kambing, 2 ekor kurban dari kepla MAN 5 Bogor dan 1 ekor sumbangan dari BSI KC Bogor, Cibinong.
Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema Rachmawati sangat support terhadap berbagai aktivitas yang ada di madrasah. Sambil memberi contoh dengan ikut berkurban dua ekor kambing, kepala madrasah melalui team humas menyampaikan harapan supaya idul adha tahun 2024 MAN 5 Bogor bukan hanya kurban kambing, tetapi juga bisa kurban sapi dan kambing.

Kegiatan memotong hewan kurban di MAN 5 Bogor merupakan tradisi yang sudah rutin dilaksanakan setiap tahunnya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memupuk rasa kekeluargaan antara civita akademika MAN 5 Bogor dan juga untuk menumbuhkan jiwa sosial dan kepedulian terhadap warga di sekitar madrasah.
Sepertiga dari daging kurban dikonsumsi oleh warga MAN 5 Bogor. Kekompakan tergambar ketika proses mengolah daging kurban menjadi sate dan sop.
Alhamdulillah kegiatan hari raya kurban hari ini berjalan dengan khidmat, lancar dan penuh suasana kekeluargaan. Semoga suasana kebatinan seperti ini senantiasa terjaga pada penyelenggaraan even-even lainnya di MAN 5 Bogor, seperti yang dipaparkan oleh wakil kepala bidang kesiswaan, Indra Parimarma.
Selain harapan dan doa, Indra Parimarma juga menyampaikan beberapa hikmah kurban kepada tim Lintas MAN, di anatara hikmah tersebut adalah mendekatkan diri kepada Allah SWT, untuk memperoleh ridho-Nya, sebagai ibadah sosial dengan menyantuni kaum dhu'afa, mengandung nilai keteguhan dan keimanan, serta menjadi bukti pengorbanan yang didasari keikhlasan dan kesabaran.
