Parungpanjang, 10 Mei 2023 -- SAAT ini perkembangan teknologi semakin berkembang pesat, akses untuk berkomunikasi dan mendapatkan informasi bisa didapatkan secara cepat dan mudah. Bahkan, hampir seluruh manusia di dunia ini menginginkan segala hal menjadi lebih praktis dan lebih efisien. Namun, di balik semua kecanggihan yang ada di era digital saat ini tentu memiliki dampak positif dan negatif bagi manusia. Berangkat dari pemikiran tersebut kepala madrasah, Ema Rachmawati mengadakan Nobar Literasi Digital yang teknis pelaksanaannya dikoordinir oleh waka kesiswaan, Moh Syahlan.
Nevi Damayanti, guru kimia yang juga generasi milenial , dan menjadi bagian dari Tim Humas MANLIBO mengemukakan pendapatnya bahwa literasi digital sangat diperlukan sebagai acuan agar lebih terarah dalam penggunaan teknologi yang semakin berkembang. Dalam bidang teknologi, khususnya informasi dan komunikasi. Literasi digital berkaitan dengan kemampuan penggunanya, di mana di dalamnya terdapat suatu kemampuan untuk menggunakan teknologi sebijak mungkin demi menciptakan interaksi dan komunikasi yang positif.

Hal senada juga dikemukakan oleh Ai Sumiati, pembina jurnalistik yang juga guru bahasa Indonesia, ia menjelaskan bahwa literasi digital ini sangat penting bagi kehidupan sehari-hari agar generasi muda, khususnya pelajar agar paham dan mengerti mana informasi yang harus diterima dan yang harus dicari kembali sumber kebenarannya. Sebab, semakin canggihnya teknologi dan informasi semakin banyak pula oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab dengan informasi yang mereka posting.
Praktisi sosmed yang juga guru Sosiologi MANLIBO, Noviana Anggraini menambahkan bahwa dengan adanya pemahaman dan penerapan literasi digital akan membuat generasi muda dapat berpartisipasi di era dunia modern sekarang ini. Literasi digital akan menciptakan sebuah tatanan masyarakat dengan pola pikir dan pandangan yang kritis-kreatif. Sehingga, mereka tidak akan mudah tertipu yang berbasis digital seperti menjadi korban informasi hoaks.
Dikutip dari buku Peran Literasi Digital di Masa Pandemik (2021) karya Devri Suherdi, literasi digital merupakan pengetahuan serta kecakapan pengguna dalam memanfaatkan media digital, seperti alat komunikasi, jaringan internet dan lain sebagainya. Adapun dari Seri Buku Literasi Digital Kerangka Literasi Digital Indonesia, literasi digital adalah kemampuan menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) untuk menemukan, mengevaluasi, memanfaatkan, membuat, dan mengkomunikasikan konten atau informasi dengan kecakapan kognitif maupun teknikal.
Mengutip 2 referensi di atas, tentu saja literasi digital memiliki dampak positif bagi masyarakat, pendidik dan kalangan pelajar termasuk juga mahasiswa untuk mempermudah mencari data dan informasi dari berbagai media. Dampak positif dari literasi digital di antaranya bisa untuk membantu proses pembelajaran; bisa untuk dapat membedakan sumber-sumber belajar yang benar, signifikan dan dapat memberikan manfaat; dan untuk membuka peluang bagi guru agar lebih produktif dalam menciptakan media ajar digital.
