Parungpanjang, 12 Mei 2023-- Kepala MAN 5 Bogor, Ema Rachmawati kepada Tim Humas dan LM-NEWS menegaskan kembali tentang cita-cita dan harapan MAN 5 Bogor menuju madrasah smart digital. Madrasah smart digital adalah madrasah yang menyelenggarakan pengelolaan pendidikan menggunakan aplikasi digital. Dalam konsep tersebut, perangkat digital bukanlah tujuan utama, melainkan alat bantu penunjang efektifitas dan efisiensi.
Berangkat dari harapan tersebut, perlahan mulai diwujudkan dalam bentuk action. Salah satunya melalui keikutsertaan kepala madrasah dengan Rizky Romdoni, ST, MM dan Aang, M.Kom, dua tenaga IT yang juga guru mapel komputer dalam kegiatan Pelatihan Augmented Reality (AR) yang diadakan oleh SEAMEO SEAMOLEC.

Pelatihan augmented reality (AR) adalah program sekolah yang dirancang untuk membantu individu atau organisasi mempelajari dan memahami teknologi AR dalam hal ini membantu untuk mendukung pembelajaran bagi guru di MAN 5 BOGOR . Selama dua hari Pelatihan di Gedung SEAMOLEC (11-12 Mei 2023), kepala madrasah bersama Rizky Romdoni dan Aang belajar tentang konsep-konsep dasar AR seperti tracking, rendering, dan augmentasi. Mereka juga mempelajari berbagai alat dan teknik untuk membuat aplikasi AR dan bagaimana cara mengembangkan pengalaman AR yang menarik dan interaktif.
Selain itu, dalam pelatihan AR kali ini juga membahas berbagai platform dan perangkat keras AR, seperti ARKit (untuk iOS) dan ARCore (untuk Android), serta berbagai jenis perangkat AR seperti headset dan kacamata AR. Peserta juga belajar tentang cara mengintegrasikan AR dengan platform digital lainnya seperti website dan aplikasi mobile.
Pada akhirnya, manfaat dari Pelatihan AR ini dapat membantu individu (guru dan staff) atau organisasi (MAN 5 Bogor) untuk memahami teknologi AR dengan lebih baik dan membuka peluang untuk mengembangkan pengalaman AR yang inovatif dan menguntungkan.
Semoga MAN 5 Bogor dalam waktu dekat akan menjadi "Madrasah Smart Digital".
